BareBoot Alpine – natural movement even in cold weather
When winter arrives, there’s no need to give up the freedom of barefoot shoes. BareBoot Alpine is a warm barefoot shoe for chilly days and winter use. The soft synthetic wool lining provides warmth around the foot, whilst the shoe’s flexible construction retains the natural feel characteristic of barefoot shoes. Whereas a traditional winter boot can be heavy and stiff, the Alpine allows the foot to move more freely. The flexible sole adapts to your stride, and the wide toe box gives your toes room to spread naturally. This allows your foot to participate in the movement even in winter.
Warmth without the bulk of heavy winter boots
The soft, synthetic alpine wool lining wraps comfortably around the foot and helps keep the cold at bay. The higher shaft protects the ankle area, making the boot a comfortable choice for cool autumn and winter days. The lightweight construction, in turn, makes the difference compared to a standard winter boot immediately apparent: there is no heavy, clunky feeling on your feet; instead, your stride remains light and natural.
Let your legs do the work
The purpose of a barefoot shoe is not to restrict the foot, but to give it room to move. The thin, flexible sole provides better feedback from the ground and allows the foot to adapt to the contours of the terrain. The wide toe box allows the toes to spread naturally, which promotes balance and a stable stride. The BareBoot Alpine offers the freedom of a barefoot shoe in a warmer winter package. Once you’ve got used to the freedom of barefoot shoes, why give it up for the winter? The BareBoot Alpine maintains a natural stride even in colder weather.

Foot measurement
1. Place your heel against something solid. For example, a wall,
2. Place an object against your toes. In this example, a phone.
3. Remove your foot and measure the distance between the mark and the wall.
Add approximately 1–1.5 cm to the measurement and compare the result with the size chart below. If the figure falls clearly between two sizes, it is safer to choose the larger size.
